Facilities Management: Our department oversees the maintenance and operation of all district-owned buildings, ensuring they are well-maintained, secure, and conducive to learning. We develop and implement long-term facility plans, including renovation and construction projects, to meet the evolving needs of our schools. We collaborate with architects, contractors, and engineers to ensure that facility designs and modifications align with educational goals and safety regulations.

Maintenance and Repairs: We provide routine maintenance and repair services to address issues with heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical systems, plumbing, and other building infrastructure. Our skilled technicians conduct regular inspections, perform preventive maintenance, and respond promptly to repair requests to minimize disruptions and create a comfortable learning environment for students and staff.

q We are responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary facilities throughout the district. Our custodial staff diligently clean classrooms, restrooms, common areas, and other spaces to ensure a safe and healthy environment. We implement cleaning protocols, manage waste disposal, and utilize eco-friendly practices to promote sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Grounds Maintenance: We maintain the outdoor spaces surrounding our school buildings, including athletic fields, playgrounds, parking lots, and landscaping. Our team ensures that these areas are well-groomed, safe, and visually appealing. We oversee the irrigation systems, manage pest control measures, and implement landscaping plans that enhance the overall aesthetic appeal and functionality of our campuses.

Energy Management: We are committed to implementing energy-efficient practices and reducing the environmental impact of our facilities. Our department identifies opportunities for energy conservation, implements energy management systems, and promotes sustainability initiatives. We strive to optimize energy usage, reduce utility costs, and educate the school community about the importance of environmental stewardship.

Community Engagement: Our department actively engages with parents, staff, and community members to gather feedback, address concerns, and foster positive relationships. We value open communication and collaboration, providing regular updates on facility-related projects, maintenance schedules, and improvements. We aim to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where community members feel informed and involved in the management of our district's facilities.

The K-12 District Facilities and Operations Department is dedicated to providing safe, well-maintained, and functional facilities that support the educational mission of our district.
