Hi and welcome to a page aimed at giving you a little info about me! I graduated with honors from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. Shortly after that, I was hired by Southmoreland School District as a long-term substitute teacher for fourth grade. Upon completion of that year, I was permanently hired by the district as a first grade teacher. It is there that I have spent the last 22 years helping children love to learn, as I learn right along with them!I am married and have two children, a son Ty and a daughter Lauren, who are busy teens that keep me hopping! My family and I love to participate in sports, camp, and travel together! I even coach a track team that takes athletes to Jr. Olympics! I love to read, bake, scrapbook and play any sport(even wii sports) with my kids! My dream is to someday live at the beach and write children's books!Right now though I am enjoying being a part of the Southmoreland School District and helping young children to grow as young learners!
